Moin! MOIN is a memecoin on Solana, launched on pump.fun, and it's a community takeover (CTO). The team that runs this site didn't launch it. We're holders, bagholders like everyone else. This is how the takeover came together.

what a cto is

CTO stands for community takeover. It's what happens when holders pick a coin up and run it themselves: people deciding to show up.

two days

It took two days to set the takeover up, from September 28 to September 30, 2026.

September 28. The takeover's Telegram group (opens in a new tab) was made. Its tagline is the community's own words:

We will bring back the best days of crypto.

September 29. This site, moincoin.fun, went up as the takeover's home.

September 30. Two days in, the takeover was in place.

we rallied

People got together in the Telegram group. On X, we rallied around the takeover in the X community (opens in a new tab). MOIN's account is @moincoinfun (opens in a new tab), and the group chat on X (opens in a new tab) is there too.

Through those two days, the number of holders held steady. Different people, one idea: let's run this ourselves.

say moin

A takeover goes on as long as people keep showing up. Come and say moin on Telegram (opens in a new tab), in the X community (opens in a new tab) and on X (opens in a new tab). Moin!

Nothing here is financial advice. Crypto is risky, memecoins especially: never put in more than you can afford to lose.

  1. one month of moin

A month on from the takeover, moin is still up about 100% while the market's been soft, and the dao held steady: sweeping drops, earning pool fees, and buying MOIN back toward 1% of the supply. A look back at everything built in one month — vault, dao, pool, boost, buyback, vpoints, the pfp drop, the explorer and a Telegram chat that doesn't sleep — and what's next.

  2. the pool is live

The moin dao's MOIN/USDC pool is live on Meteora: part of the treasury now provides liquidity instead of sitting idle, and every trade through it pays the dao a fee. What a pool is, what it does, how it happened and what's next.

  3. the dao's first move: your drops, put to work

Your redirected drops built the moin dao a treasury in a week, and proposal 1 is its first real move with it: a MOIN/USDC pool the dao owns, which takes its fees in USDC. What it means in plain words, why it matters, how moin boost would work, what's next, and how to take part.
