your drops vote · the treasury pays what passes

the moin dao

Holders keep their MOIN and send its SOL drops to the dao's treasury. What the treasury pays for is up to them: every SOL their drops brought in is a vote.

Info:

the dao isn't set up yet

The moin dao's governance hasn't been created on this network yet. The SOL holders' drops bring it will be its votes once it is. It's set up together with the vault: help launch it.

how it works

redirect, propose, vote, pay out

  1. redirect your drops

Keep your MOIN and send the SOL drops pump.fun pays on it to the dao's treasury, from the vault. Every SOL they bring in is a vote.

  2. the team proposes

The team puts questions to the vote, with or without a SOL payout from the treasury. Nobody else can, so nobody can rush a payout through.

  3. you vote

Vote yes or no with everything your drops brought the dao. Changed your mind? Take your vote back and vote again while voting is open.

  4. count & pay out

When voting ends, anyone can count the votes. If a payout passed, anyone can then send it from the treasury.

the fine print

  • The dao runs on SPL Governance (Realms), on-chain: proposals, votes and payouts are Solana transactions, and the treasury can only pay out what a proposal that passed says.
  • Votes are counted from the vault program's records of the SOL each holder's redirect accounts sent the dao. The vault program and the keeper that sweeps drops into the treasury are run by the moin team, and the vault program hasn't had an independent security audit yet: see the vault's fine print.
  • Only the team's wallet can propose; holders' votes decide. This page describes SOL payouts from the treasury; when a proposal does anything else, the page says so. Read a proposal and its link before you vote.
  • Voting stores small records on Solana, paid from your wallet; the page shows what that costs before you sign. Votes your drops earned stay yours: taking your MOIN out of the vault only stops new drops from counting.
  • Votes, counting and payouts are final once confirmed. Nothing here is an investment or a promise of any return.
