the basics
What is MOIN?
MOIN is a memecoin on Solana, made for fun and community. It's a community takeover (CTO): the team that runs this site didn't launch the coin. We're holders, bagholders like everyone else.
What are drops?
pump.fun shares part of MOIN's trading fees with the people who hold it, and pays them out in SOL (Solana's own coin) a few times a day. We call those payouts drops. How big they are depends on how much MOIN is traded, so they go up and down, and they can stop.
What is the vault?
A way to send your drops to the moin dao instead of to your wallet, while you keep your MOIN. You move MOIN into a redirect account of your own; pump.fun pays the drops for that MOIN there, and every few minutes they're moved into the dao's treasury. Open yours on the vault page.
What is the moin dao?
The community's shared wallet, called the treasury, plus voting. The team suggests what the treasury pays for, holders vote, and money only moves when a vote passes. It all runs on Solana itself, so anyone can check it. See the dao.
your MOIN and safety
Do I give my MOIN away?
No. Your MOIN moves into your own redirect account, and only your wallet can take it out again. Nobody else can move it: not the team, not the dao, not the vault.
Is my MOIN safe?
None of these can move the MOIN in a redirect account:
- a hacked or maliciously upgraded vault program;
- a drained treasury or an attacked dao;
- a stolen keeper key;
- the team;
- the website disappearing.
That's because the only one allowed to move it is your wallet. The redirect account's own key, which could also move it, only exists for a moment while the account is set up, and then it's thrown away.
What this doesn't cover:
- Your own wallet. Whoever controls your wallet can move your MOIN, the same as MOIN sitting in your wallet. Keep your recovery phrase safe.
- The moment you open your account. This site makes the account's one-time key in your browser. If the site, or something on your computer, were compromised at that very moment, someone could keep a copy of that key. After a clean setup, a later problem with the site can't touch your account, but always read what your wallet asks you to sign.
- The SOL. The drops waiting to be moved to the treasury, and the treasury itself, depend on the vault program and on the keys that run it. The program hasn't been audited yet, and the key that can change it is held by the team.
Can I take my MOIN back?
Any time, in one click, on the vault page. It goes straight back to your wallet, also while the vault is paused for new deposits.
What if the vault or this website stops working?
Your MOIN stays in your redirect account, and your wallet can still move it, because it's the only one allowed to. The emergency exit moves it back without the vault program, and the receipts show how to do it without this site at all.
drops and the treasury
How do my drops get to the dao?
pump.fun pays the drops for the MOIN in your redirect account to that account. Once they add up to 0.001 SOL, the vault moves them into the dao's treasury. That happens on its own, every few minutes, and the small fees for it are paid by the site's keeper, not by you.
Does pump.fun really pay redirect accounts?
Yes. pump.fun never said whether it would, so the first redirect account went in first: it got its first drop at 19:19 UTC on October 4, 2026 (see it on Solscan (opens in a new tab)). If pump.fun ever stops, take your MOIN back and its drops land in your wallet again.
How much will my drops be?
It depends on how much MOIN is traded. The vault page shows an estimate from the latest payouts. Drops can go up, down or stop.
Do I still get drops in my wallet?
For the MOIN you keep in your wallet, yes. For the MOIN in your redirect account, the drops go to the dao instead.
Who can spend the treasury?
Nobody on their own. The treasury only pays what a proposal says, and only after holders vote it through. Anyone can look at the treasury on Solscan (opens in a new tab).
What does the dao spend on?
Only what proposals that passed say. Money for promotion goes through the public promotions wallet, and the receipts for every purchase get posted.
voting
How do I get votes?
Your votes are the SOL your drops have brought the dao: redirect more, vote more. Votes you've earned stay yours, even if you take your MOIN back later.
Who can make proposals?
Only the team's wallet. That way nobody can rush a payout from the treasury through with a handful of drops, while holders still decide on every proposal.
When does a proposal pass?
Voting runs for 3 days. A proposal passes when votes worth at least 10% of all votes say yes, and there are more yes votes than no votes. If it passes, anyone can then carry out the payout. See the proposals.
Does voting cost anything?
Your first vote stores a few small records on Solana, a few thousandths of a SOL, paid from your wallet. After that, each vote costs only a tiny storage fee. The page shows the cost before you sign.
rewards
Do redirectors get rewards?
Top redirectors on the leaderboard are eligible for future airdrops, rewards and perks, like pfps. The first is the moin pfp drop.
Who gets the moin pfp drop?
Every wallet whose redirect accounts together hold at least 100,000 MOIN, and have for 30 days in a row or more when the snapshot is taken. One pfp per wallet. Check your progress.
How are the days counted?
The site checks your redirect accounts every 5 minutes. Dropping below 100,000 MOIN starts the count again, and so does taking your MOIN out. The final list is checked on Solana itself.
When is the snapshot?
The date will be announced. Keep 100,000 MOIN or more redirecting until then: you need to be at 30 days or more on the day itself.
What do I get?
A moin pfp, airdropped to the wallet you redirect from.
costs
What does a redirect account cost?
About 0.004 SOL when you open it, for the small records it stores on Solana. Part of it comes back when you close the account.
Does the team or the dao take a cut?
No. Every drop that's swept goes to the treasury, and the site's keeper pays the small fees for sweeping.
the small print
Is this an investment?
No. MOIN is a memecoin, drops come from pump.fun and can change or stop, and nothing here promises any return. Nothing on this site is financial advice: never put in more than you can afford to lose.
Has the vault been audited?
Not yet. It's been tested thoroughly, but no independent firm has checked the vault program. It can't move your MOIN either way; what depends on it is the SOL waiting to be swept and the way votes are counted. The receipts list who holds which keys.
Is this run by pump.fun?
No. This site isn't affiliated with pump.fun. pump.fun pays the drops; what happens with them is up to the community.
comments
Why do I need 100 MOIN to comment?+
It keeps spam out: comments on the blog are for holders. MOIN in your wallet and in your redirect account both count. You sign in by signing a message in your wallet: it's free and doesn't send anything.
