vpoints: how moin's points work

Moin! vpoints are moin's points for taking part. Season 1 runs from the vault's opening on October 3 to February 1, 2027, and what you've done since October 3 counts too. Here's what vpoints are, where to watch yours, every way to earn them with a few worked examples, what @moin_tipbot shows you in Telegram, and the rules that keep it fair.

what vpoints are

• Points for taking part in moin during season 1: from the vault's opening on Saturday, October 3, 2026 to Monday, February 1, 2027, both days counted.
• No cash value. They can't be bought, sold or moved between wallets.
• Public. Every vpoint is in a ledger anyone can read and recount, and a mistake is only ever corrected by a public adjustment that says why.

the pond

The pond is where vpoints live. Connect your wallet, or look up any address: there's nothing to sign, it only reads.

• A live counter: today so far, ticking up as your MOIN earns. It's added to your balance after midnight UTC.
• Your balance, and what you're earning a day right now.
• Your place this season, and season 1's top 20, ranked by vpoints earned.
• Badges: one for each way to earn, lit once the wallet has earned that way this season, with the day it last did: redirector, voter, tipper, chatter, holder and regular. Then booster, lit from the wallet's first boost started on the site this season, dated by that start, and still lit after the boost ends. Once all seven are lit, pond legend lights up too. A badge that isn't lit yet links to how to earn it, or to the boost page for booster.
• Your recent credits, and any net buys waiting to pay.
• A share card: save it as a picture, or share it on X.

how you earn

Every number here is the site's own: how to earn has each way's fine print.

• Keep MOIN redirected. MOIN in your redirect accounts and boosts earns 25 vpoints a day per 1,000,000, counted by the second: 100,000 MOIN earns 2.5 a day, 10,000,000 earns 250. Boosting counts up to ×2: a 60-day boost counts ×1.5 and a 90-day one ×2 (30 days counts ×1). Redirect your drops, or boost the MOIN you won't need for a while.
• Take part in the dao. 60 for each proposal you vote on, for or against, with at least 0.01 SOL of votes, as long as your vote still counts when voting ends. On the ideas board: 75 when an idea you posted takes off, 250 when the team picks it up and 375 when its proposal passes, and 5 for each vote on someone else's idea, 5 a day at most. Your votes are the SOL your drops brought the dao, and boosting adds to them: a 60-day boost counts its drops 1.5 times and a 90-day boost twice, up to a cap.
• Use the tipbot. Tip, make it rain and burn MOIN with @moin_tipbot (opens in a new tab) in Telegram: 3 for each member you tip at least 1,000 MOIN or 0.001 SOL (3 members a day), 5 for a rain to 10 members or more (once a day) and 3 for every 10,000 MOIN you burn (15 a day), 25 a day at most in all. It's counting now, for every member who linked a wallet with the bot's /link, and your tips, rains and burns from the days before it reached the site counted too.
• Link your Telegram. 100 vpoints, once per person, for linking your Telegram account to your wallet. There are two ways: log in with Telegram under your accounts on the pond, or send /link to @moin_tipbot (opens in a new tab) and tick "Also keep this link for moin rewards" when your wallet signs. It pays for a wallet with at least 100,000 MOIN redirected or boosted: link before you get there, and it pays once you do.
• Chat in the moin group. Once your Telegram is linked, your messages there earn too, by the rules in the chat section below.
• Buy on PumpSwap and hold 7 days. MOIN you buy through PumpSwap's MOIN/SOL pool in a UTC day, less what you sell or send away that day, earns 100 vpoints per 1,000,000 once it's at least 100,000 MOIN. It pays 7 days later, on the least of it you kept all week. Moving it into your redirect accounts or boosts still counts as keeping it.
• Keep your run going. Every full UTC day with 100,000 MOIN or more redirected or boosted adds a day to your run, and dropping below starts it again at day 1. Its milestones pay once a season each: 50 at day 7, 150 at day 30 and 375 at day 90.

chat in the moin group

@moin_tipbot counts your chat in the moin group, in every topic of it, by the site's rules:

• 2 for a message, 4 for a reply to someone else's message, 30 a day at most.
• A message counts from 7 days after you joined the group, when it has at least 3 words, comes at least 3 minutes after your last one that counted, and isn't the same text as one that counted in the last 24 hours. Stickers, forwards, commands and emoji on their own earn nothing, and neither do edits.
• The site's gate: a day's chat is credited after midnight UTC, to the wallet your Telegram is linked to, if it has at least 100,000 MOIN redirected or boosted then. A day that doesn't pass then isn't paid later.
• Linking later? Your chat waits 7 days. The bot counts everyone in the group, linked or not, and holds each member's counted chat for 7 days. Link your Telegram within them and those days are credited too, each one once. Older days are dropped.
• Nothing you write is kept. To spot repeats, the bot keeps a one-way fingerprint of each counted text for 24 hours, and it sends the site one total a day per member, with no names.

Each of these is worked out from the rates above.

• 1,000,000 MOIN redirected for 30 days: 25 a day × 30 days = 750 vpoints.
• The same MOIN in a 90-day boost: it counts ×2, so it earns 25 × 2 = 50 a day, and 50 × 30 = 1,500 in the same 30 days. In a 60-day boost it counts ×1.5: 25 × 1.5 = 37.5 a day, 1,125 in 30 days.
• A chatty day in the moin group: 8 messages that count, 3 of them replies to someone else: 5 × 2 + 3 × 4 = 10 + 12 = 22 vpoints. A busier day stops at 30: 14 messages with 4 replies would be 10 × 2 + 4 × 4 = 36, and it pays 30.
• A PumpSwap buy held 7 days: buy 2,000,000 MOIN through the MOIN/SOL pool and keep it all week: 2 × 100 = 200 vpoints, paid 7 days later. Sell 500,000 of it during the week and it pays on the 1,500,000 you kept: 1.5 × 100 = 150.
• A 30-day run: 100,000 MOIN redirected every full UTC day for 30 days. The run pays 50 at day 7 and 150 at day 30, and the redirecting earns 2.5 a day × 30 = 75: 50 + 150 + 75 = 275 vpoints.
• An active week: 1,000,000 MOIN redirected all week, 25 × 7 = 175; chat on 5 days, 8 messages a day with 2 of them replies, (6 × 2 + 2 × 4) × 5 = 20 × 5 = 100; tips of 1,000 MOIN to 2 members on 3 days, 3 × 2 × 3 = 18; a vote on one dao proposal, 60; and votes on 5 ideas on the board, 5 × 5 = 25. That's 175 + 100 + 18 + 60 + 25 = 378 vpoints in a week.

in @moin_tipbot

@moin_tipbot (opens in a new tab) shows your vpoints in Telegram too:

• /vpoints in private shows your card: your balance, today so far, what you're earning a day, your place in season 1, your chat today out of 30 and your 3 latest credits, with a button to your page on the pond. When your chat can't earn yet, its line says why.
• /vpoints in the group answers in a few lines: your balance, today so far, what you're earning a day, your place this season and your chat today. It never shows your wallet: open the full card in private for the rest. It always shows your own vpoints, even when you reply to someone else's message.
• The daily top: every day from 09:00 UTC, the bot posts season 1's top 10, by vpoints earned, in the moin group's dao topic, with a button to the full list on the pond. Members who turned on "show me on moincoin.fun" in /privacy go by their name. Every other wallet goes by its short address, and nobody is tagged.
• /leaderboard in the group shows season 1's vpoints top 10, named the same way as the daily top, and your own place. In private, the tip boards come after it.
• Your credit messages: from 10:00 UTC, at most once a day, the bot tells you in private what was credited to your wallet, way by way, if you have a wallet linked and you've spoken in the group in the last 30 days. They're on by default. Tap "stop these" to stop them, and /privacy turns them back on.

the recount

• Since October 3, by the same rules. Everything since the vault opened was recounted from the chain: your redirects from the first days, with the run milestones they reached, and your PumpSwap buys from before the site kept its own log. Each counts for the day it happened.
• The tipbot's history. Once @moin_tipbot's history reached the site, every season day was worked out once more, paying only what hadn't been paid yet. That's how earlier tips, rains and burns counted.
• The welcome grant: up to 750 vpoints for dao votes and board ideas from before the launch, paid once, at the launch on October 18.

fair play

Points are only fun when they're fair, so a few rules keep farming out:

• Only PumpSwap buys count. Buys on other pools, MOIN taken out of a liquidity position and MOIN sent to you earn nothing, and neither do swaps or volume.
• A buy you sell all of within its 7 days pays nothing. Sell or send only part of it and it pays on what you kept.
• Boost on the site. Only boosts made on the boost page count: one prepared by hand outside the site never starts, so it counts nothing.
• Splitting earns nothing extra. MOIN spread across wallets earns the same as in one, or less.
• No last-minute top-ups. The site reads every wallet every 5 minutes and counts the lower of two readings, so MOIN added just before a reading gains nothing.
• Chat pays for talk. Short, repeated or rapid-fire messages, stickers, forwards and commands earn nothing.
• One Telegram, one reward. A Telegram account earns its 100 once, whichever wallet it's linked to. It belongs to one wallet at a time: moving it to another wallet, or the wallet to another account, waits 30 days from the link.
